# 344 WAR - Arrogance of the BBC.

Lord Dobbs, author of 'House of Cards' that was turned into the TV series for the BBC, has accused the BBC of organisational and intellectual arrogance and said it has sometimes ' seemed more like a private fiefdom than a public service.'

He went on ' there is a real danger of the BBC being brought low by a hundred headlines, a thousand unnecessary taxi rides and millions that have been spent on redundancies and failures.'

He also accused the BBC, during the Royal Television Society's Huw Wheldon Memorial Lecture, of left-wing bias in some of its reporting.

IMO the BBC is bias in not some but most of it's reporting which I why I still don't pay my TV licence.
