The House of Lords has conducted an inquiry into the representation of women in the broadcast media.
Olenka Frenkiel told peers that she feared that her bosses would 'paint her mad' when she challenged the redundancy notice she was served with after entering he mid -50s.
The report published today examined the role of women in news and current affairs and criticised the industry for its sexist attitude and singled out the BBC as having the biggest obligation to improve.
While the report looked at the entire broadcasting industry the BBC was repeated singled out as having a particular responsibility due to it being funded by the £145.5 licence fee.
Well we all knew it and now it is official the BBC is bias in its treatment of older women.
The BBC should be renamed the BIAS Broadcasting Corporation.
